Can eggplant be substituted for zucchini in recipes?

most of them, yes, probably. it would depend upon the specific recipe. For example, if you are making a zucchini bread, you woudl need to salt the eggplant to remove most of the water out of it before adding it to the batter. Eggplant has much more water in it than zucchini. But for frying or casseroles, they shoudl be interchangeable. Can eggplant be substituted for zucchini in recipes?
I wouldn't. They have different textures when cooked, but it depends on the recipe you have. Grilling and Frying you could get away with it, but eggplant falls apart in water like soups and stews. Can eggplant be substituted for zucchini in recipes?
i'm sure it would, but keep in mind that zucchini has more water content than eggplant, so the outcome may be different depending on what your cooking
depends on the meal probably. but it wouldnt hurt anything. it would just alter the taste a bit.
I'm sure you can it'll just give the dish you're cooking a different taste.
That should work great....Except in breads....
